The public is invited to a free opening reception for “Along the Way,” an exhibition of new work by artist Lynn Keffer. The reception takes place from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022 at the Guttenberg Arts Gallery. The exhibition will be on view by appointment only from Nov. 19 to Dec. 11, Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and virtually online at any time. Patrons can schedule a visit or view the virtual gallery at guttenbergarts.org/exhibitions.

Working with a series of etched surfaces, Keffer’s starting point is controlled and structured. Then the structure is changed in visual ways, through the use of color as well as layers and masking techniques.

Lynn Keffer began making etchings over 25 years ago at The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey. Prior to that her professional background was graphic design and art direction, working on magazines, annual reports, and other corporate communications. More recently she started using her etchings as content for her artist books.
