Meet One-on-One with a FEMA Rep to Discuss Flood Claims on 10/8
Posted October 01, 2021The Town of Guttenberg has arranged for representatives from FEMA to meet with local residents to discuss any damage or losses they experienced to their homes as a result of Hurricane Ida last month.
FEMA representatives will be available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021 at the Guttenberg Resource Center, located in the lower level of the Galaxy Towers Mall, 7002 Boulevard East.
Homeowners and renters are encouraged to come speak in person with the representatives to discuss claims for individual FEMA disaster aid. You can initiate a claim on the spot or if you have already submitted a claim through the website, the representatives will be happy to walk you through the process and answer any questions about what to expect.
Bring proof of residency and any backup documentation, including receipts, estimates, and photos of damage.
No appointment is necessary.
