Mayor & Council Host Community Meeting for District 7 Residents
Posted August 21, 2026Mayor Wayne Zitt and the Town Council host periodic community meetings to get to know residents of different sections of town and give everyone a chance to discuss personally any issues of interest or concern. The most recent meeting took place on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026 next to Hudson Church for residents of District 7.
A group of local residents showed up to meet and greet with the mayor and Council Members Monica Fundora, John Habermann, and Juana Malave, along with Revenue & Finance Director Hiram Gonzalez, Community Services Coordinator Marisol Montanez, and local committee members.
Agenda topics included proposed traffic-flow changes, new parking options, potential revised parking times, and many other items. Everyone had the opportunity to speak informally with the officials about topics pertinent to them personally and to their neighborhood.
