Guttenberg’s lanky leprechaun returned for a morning of green mischief on Tuesday, Mar. 17, 2026. He could be found prowling the community room at 7005 Boulevard East, where seniors had gathered for a tasty St. Patrick's Day breakfast of corned beef, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and green bagels, with cupcakes for dessert.

Helping to serve the meal were Council Members Monica, John Habermann, and William Hokien, along with Town Administrator Cosmo Cirillo, Public Affairs Coordinator Marisol Montanez, and the Senior Services staff.

This was the third year that Guttenberg has hosted “Breakfast with a Leprechaun” for senior residents, with food from Brothers Grocery & Deli and Bagel Box. Senior Services Director Belkis Rubio arranged the festivities and kept the leprechaun in line.
