Customers to Pay Less for PSE&G Electricity
Posted June 01, 2018Bills for PSE&G’s residential electric customers dropped 1.9 percent as of June 1 – just in time for summer. The lower electric bills are the result of a Basic Generation Service auction held in February for customers who receive their electric supply from PSE&G.
The typical customer who uses 750 kilowatt-hours per summer month and 7,200 kilowatt-hours annually will pay $2 less per month, or $24 less per year.
PSE&G has advised that they are well prepared to meet customer demand for safe, reliable electricity this summer. PSE&G has made significant infrastructure investments that will be in service for the first time this season, which will help them deliver safe, reliable electric service to customers, increase resiliency, and foster economic growth in New Jersey.
