The Hudson County Gifted and Talented Consortium spans municipalities across the county, providing education and support for gifted and talented education. On Jan. 22, 2026 they presented the 2nd Annual Hudson County Geography Bee, focusing on US, world, and mixed geography questions.

Guttenberg was represented by 8th grade Anna L. Klein students Inaya Anam, Austin Armira, Johnny Diaz, Jesibet Estrada, Nibria Millwood, Briella Paulino, and Daniel Rivas. Colleen Amador is the Gifted & Talented coordinator.

The event was hosted by Jersey City at the Infinity Institute and brought together students from 10 Hudson County participants: Bayonne, Jersey City, Jersey City Community Charter, Guttenberg, Harrison, Kearny, North Bergen, Secaucus, Union City, and West New York.
