At the Town of Guttenberg Council meeting on Monday, Jan. 5, Special Law Enforcement Officer Class II (SLEO II) Andy Reynoso and Lesley Avila were promoted to full-time police officers.

 

Mayor Wayne Zitt also swore in Officers V. Acosta and J. Negron, along with three recent SLEO II graduates of the Hudson County Police Academy: A. Sibri, R. Minaya, and M. Percella. Additionally, three new Special Law Enforcement Officer Class I (SLEO I) were also sworn in: A. Vassell, A. Ortiz, and J. Smith.

 

Chief Frank Pelaez congratulated the newly promoted and sworn-in officers and extended his appreciation to Mayor Zitt and the Town Council for their ongoing support of the Guttenberg Police Department.
