Guttenberg’s annual Holiday Celebration for kids in grades pre-K through 2 is returning to the Gerald R. Drasheff Community Center on Saturday, Dec. 20 from noon to 2 p.m. The event will take place in the auditorium on Hudson Avenue between 68th and 69th Streets.

 

Santa Claus will be there in person, greeting kids and posing for free family photos with a holiday backdrop. There will be a photo booth, balloons, face painting, seasonal decorations and backdrops for selfies, with special guests to greet those both nice and naughty.

 

Mayor Wayne Zitt and the Town Council are hosting the big gift giveaway featuring a wide selection of toys, games, and other items for local kids to choose from and take home for the holidays.

 

The event is sponsored by the Guttenberg Recreation Department and the town.
