Guttenberg is celebrating Italian-American Heritage and Culture Month in October with a grand “Festa Italiana” on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025.

In partnership with GP’s Restaurant, the town is hosting a delicious afternoon of fun, food, and entertainment from 1 to 5 p.m. on Bellevue Avenue between 69th and 70th Streets.

The street in front of GP’s will be closed off for the celebration, with plenty of authentic Italian eats, live music, a DJ, a bouncy house, face painting, local vendors and artisanal goods, raffles, giveaways, games, activities, and more.

Mayor Wayne Zitt and the Town Council invite everyone to join them for the festive occasion, sponsored by the UEZ. Transportation will be available beginning at 12:30 p.m. at senior bus stops.
