Cary Lopez, executive director and co-founder of Act Now Foundation, is hosting a seminar on “Depression & Social Isolation in Older Adults” at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025 in the community room at 7005 Boulevard East.

This seminar talks about the warning signs of depression and its most common types, risk factors, the role of social isolation and loneliness, how this disease affects minorities, action steps to prevent depression, and treatment options.
