As part of Guttenberg’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the town will be participating in the 50th annual Hispanic State Parade of New Jersey on Sunday, Oct. 5. Dozens of floats and hundreds of participants in costumes proudly flaunting their country’s colors will join the procession as it makes its way down Bergenline Avenue beginning at 79th Street and proceeding south through Guttenberg.

 

The festivities begin at approximately 1 p.m. Bergenline Avenue will be closed to traffic on Sunday and parking will be prohibited on both sides of the street along the parade route. It is advised that vehicles avoid the area if at all possible.
