Every year, Guttenberg’s annual Summer Music Series culminates in a spectacular Latin Night concert, and 2025 is no exception. The closing performance of the season marks the triumphant return of David Cedeño and his Orchestra on Friday, Sep. 19 at 7 p.m. on the big stage at Boulevard East and 70th Street.

 

New Jersey-based trumpeter/composer/arranger David Cedeño and his Orchestra perform a mix of salsa, merengue, Latin jazz, and more, along with Latin-style arrangements of mainstream pop classics.

 

Cedeño and his band have toured throughout the northeastern United States and Japan, and he appeared as a trumpet player in the Marc Anthony/Jennifer Lopez movie “El Cantante.”

 

Be sure to get there early as DJ Ricky Garcia kicks off the party at 5 p.m. with a set of great Latin music. Plenty of free seating will be available – as well as generous space for dancing.
