The Guttenberg Police Department’s Command Staff has selected Special Law Enforcement Officer II (SLEO II) Andy Reynoso as the Guttenberg Police Department’s Officer of The Month for August, 2025.

On August 9, 2025 SLEO II Reynoso responded to a request for assistance involving a disabled female. Upon arrival, officers discovered that her electric wheelchair was inoperable; they then aided her in arranging transportation. SLEO II Reynoso went above and beyond by following the taxi to her home. Once there, he helped the woman back into her wheelchair and escorted her to her residence.

This incident exemplifies how small gestures can demonstrate the police department’s care for the community. SLEO II Reynoso was commended by the department for his dedication to our community.
