Guttenberg’s popular annual “Night Out Against Crime” celebration will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 5. Mayor Wayne Zitt and the Town Council in conjunction with the Guttenberg Police Department are pleased to invite everyone once again to join them from 6 to 9 p.m. in the GSL parking lot on Madison Street between 68th and 70th Streets.

 

There will be free food, beverages, music, activities, vendors, entertainment, a dunk tank, game booths, giveaways, and fun for everyone. This year the event will feature a live concert by Finish This.

 

National Night Out was founded 41 years ago in 1984 to forge stronger relationships between the community and the police officers who patrol the streets every day. Guttenberg hosts a free event each year for Night Out so residents can get to know their local police officers and vice versa.
