The Guttenberg Police Department’s Command Staff has selected Police Officer Andrew Garcia as the Guttenberg Police Department’s Officer of The Month for June, 2025.

 

In the last week of June, Officer Garcia met a 4-year-old boy named Sasha and his guardian, Vera, at the Galaxy Towers. Sasha was very interested in police work, and Officer Garcia took the time to show him some of his equipment as well as his police vehicle. On July 1, Sasha and Vera visited GPD police headquarters. Vera wanted to commend Officer Garcia, expressing how incredible his dedication and effort were in making Sasha happy. Officer Garcia then welcomed Sasha to headquarters and gave him another tour of police vehicles and equipment.

 

Officer Garcia is recognized for his community policing efforts, which continue to shine a positive light on the Guttenberg Police Department.
