One of the most popular bands to play Guttenberg in recent years is the One Hit Wonderers, specializing in tunes from bands that rocketed to the top of the charts for a single shining moment, then plummeted back into obscurity. But those flash-in-the-pan hit singles are glorious, and the One Hit Wonderers bring them back in all their splendor.

Residents will have the chance to catch the human jukebox that is the One Hit Wonderers on Thursday, Jun. 12, 2025 at 7 p.m. on the big portable stage at Park Avenue and 68th Street. The band will be playing a selection of immortal pop classics from across the decades.

The One Hit Wonderers feature an impressive lineup of outstanding musicians and vocal artists who have played with a Who’s Who of rock royalty from Chuck Berry to Roger Daltrey; from Loggins and Messina to Aretha Franklin; from jazz legends Wynton Marsalis, Larry Coryell, and Victor Wooten to classical virtuoso Leonard Bernstein, among others.

The Guttenberg Summer Concert Series continues with shows at different locations around town every month through October.
