Free Virtual Tutoring Available for PSAT/SAT Preparation This Summer
Posted May 30, 2025Youth Tutors is a local organization that helps individuals prepare for the PSAT by providing free one-hour, one-on-one Zoom sessions with tutors offering practice problems and test-taking strategies. Created by a student for students, they also provide help with homework, projects, and other school-based needs.
Students can sign up by emailing youth_tutors@yahoo.com with your name, your parent’s/guardians’ name and phone number, and your grade level. They will respond with an available schedule and official, free registration form.
Youth Tutors was founded by former Anna L. Klein student Amy Hernandez, who graduated from High Tech High School and was accepted to Harvard this year with a scholarship. She designed the program with the understanding that not every student has English-speaking parents or the help they may need at home. Youth Tutors is staffed with student volunteers from High Tech who aim to help youngsters acclimate and thrive.
Visit them on Instagram @youth_tutors for more information. This program is presented in collaboration with the Town of Guttenberg.
