Happy Earth Day!
Posted April 22, 2025Tuesday, April 22 is Earth Day, an annual demonstration of support for environmental protection. The official theme for 2025 is Our Power, Our Planet.
The North Bergen Free Public Library is celebrating Earth Day with an event on Monday, Apr. 28 at the 81st Street Branch. Join them to plant marigolds and brighten up the outside of the building at 510 81st Street. There will be two sessions:
- Ages 3 to 6 @ 4-4:30 p.m.
- Ages 7 to teen @ 4:30-5 p.m.
Bring your gardening gloves and dress to be messy. Potted marigolds will remain at the library. Registration is required at NBPL.org/calendar. For Guttenberg and North Bergen residents only.
