Mayor Cuts Ribbon Welcoming Max’s Convenience Store on Boulevard East
Posted March 07, 2025There’s a welcome addition to the neighborhood on Boulevard East. Max’s Convenience Store recently opened at 7101 JFK Boulevard East, right next to Dunkin Donuts. Mayor Wayne Zitt cut the ribbon on Tuesday, Mar. 4 officially welcoming them to Guttenberg.
Residents in the area now have a great new destination to pick up grocery items, healthy snacks, drinks, and other necessities. Plans for the future include a full deli counter, ice cream, and more great treats.
Previously a dry cleaner, the building was gutted and completely renovated by Max’s owner Adam Mohamed. He and partner Amir Kasim have many years of experience running delis in New York and when they were introduced to the location in Guttenberg, they jumped on the opportunity to bring a great new one-stop shop to our neighborhood.
Max’s Convenience is open from 7 a.m. to midnight, offering a wide – and growing – selection of household items. They look forward to meeting all the local residents and serving the neighborhood.
