Hispanic State Parade of NJ is Oct. 6 on Bergenline Ave.
Posted October 04, 2024As part of Guttenberg’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the town will be participating in the 49th annual Hispanic State Parade of New Jersey on Sunday, Oct. 6. It will start at approximately 1 p.m. at 79th Street and Bergenline Avenue in North Bergen and proceed south through Guttenberg to 43rd Street and Bergenline Avenue.
Representatives from Guttenberg will be participating in the parade while local residents and guests line the street on either side to cheer on the many colorful floats, costumed dancers, musicians, performers, and much more.
The Hispanic State Parade of NJ is one of numerous events taking place locally during Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15 to October 15. Hispanic Heritage Month was established to recognize and celebrate the histories, cultures, contributions, and achievements of Hispanic Americans.
Guttenberg is proud to join in the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month each year and honor our Hispanic American community.
Parking will be prohibited on Bergenline Avenue along the parade route. Bergenline Avenue will be closed to traffic from approximately 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Vehicles should avoid the area if at all possible.
