The annual Salvadorian Parade will march down Bergenline Avenue beginning at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2024 proceeding from Braddock Park in North Bergen through Guttenberg to 43rd Street in Union City.

To celebrate the 203rd anniversary of El Salvador’s independence, colorful floats, elaborate costumes, and festive music will fill Bergenline Avenue, attracting a crowd of enthusiastic spectators and supporters dressed in bright blue and waving Salvadorian flags. Numerous Guttenberg dignitaries will march in the parade, alongside representatives from neighboring communities.

Parking will be prohibited on Bergenline Avenue from 85th Street south along the parade route and Bergenline Avenue will be closed to traffic during the day on Sunday. Vehicles should avoid the area if at all possible.
