Guttenberg’s monthly Wellness Day has expanded beyond the confines of the Resource Center and now takes over the entire lower level of the Galaxy Towers Mall. A dozen service providers set up in the lobby on Thursday, May 9, 2024 to offer information, testing, vaccines, and giveaways to residents, all for free courtesy of the Town of Guttenberg and their partners.

Many locals showed up to take advantage of the many services on offer. Greeting them were Councilman John Habermann, Town Administrator Cosmo Cirillo, and Events Coordinator Marisol Montanez, who plans and oversees the monthly activity.

Among the vendors offering services were Accessible Community Empowerments, Community Care Partners, Elara Caring, Freedom Bank, Hudson Pride, North Hudson Community Action Corporation, North Jersey Foot & Ankle, Palisades Family Success Center, Partnership for Maternal & Child Health of Northern New Jersey, Pegasus Dental, Save Latin America, and Verizon.

Food Pantry, from upstairs in the mall, generously donated free pizza for all the attendees. Marisol offered a delicious spread of cookies, pastries, snacks, and drinks, plus flowers for all the moms in attendance.
