An Indian tradition is coming to Guttenberg with our first annual celebration of Holi, the “Festival of Colors” that welcomes spring. The joyous celebration is marked by participants gleefully dousing one another with brightly colored powders.

 

Led by local resident Rin Lhamu, the event will feature rousing music plus free Indian food courtesy of Raj Pardesani. Colors will be provided free of charge. Please do not bring your own colors.

 

The rainbow-hued event will be held in scenic Waterfront Park, located alongside the Hudson River at 7100 River Road. Shuttle buses will be provided for the convenience of residents. The rain date is Sunday, Apr. 21.
