Enter a Contest to Display Your Artwork in Newark Airport and Receive $1,000
Posted August 08, 2023Artists are invited to be a part of the Art of New Jersey digital exhibition at Newark Liberty Airport terminal A. Approximately 20 artists will receive a $1,000 stipend in exchange for use of the artist’s work for one year in the Airport.
Artists may submit up to three examples of completed, two-dimensional, still artworks in a digital format for digital display. Work should fall into the general themes of:
- The story of New Jersey and its people, from pre-colonial to contemporary communities, indigenous and immigrant, including our diverse people, places, and geographies: rural, suburban, and urban
- The state of New Jersey as a year-round destination, with a wide variety of cultural, historic, and innovative opportunities for tourists and residents alike
The deadline for artist submissions is Sept. 12, 2023. Artists will retain copyright to their work.
