Waterfront Park hosted the season’s biggest canine shindig at the Spring Pet Festival on Saturday, Apr. 22, 2023. Dozens of vendors catering to man’s best friend set up tables with free treats and services while a photo booth provided souvenir pics.

In addition to the pampered pooches, humans got some treats as well, with free ice cream, hot dogs, and ices. The weather couldn’t have been better and the location was perfect, with the huge green lawn made for frolicking, vendor esplanade, and amphitheater facing Manhattan.

Among those enjoying the fun spring day were Council Members Monica Fundora, John Habermann, William Hokien, and Juana Malave, along with Housing Authority Executive Director Ruddys Andrade, DPW Superintendent Hector Hernandez, and many other town officials and residents.

The event was cosponsored by the Town of Guttenberg, Port Imperial Pooches, and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey.
