The Town of Guttenberg’s annual Guttoberfest celebration returns on Saturday, Oct. 8. The lively block party takes place from noon to 4 p.m. on Park Avenue between 71st and 72nd Street.

 

There will be complimentary food, giveaways, jello shots, and more, with live music by Keith’s Okpolkafest Band and acoustics by Mike Buscio.

 

The event celebrates Guttenberg’s rich German history, and the many German immigrants who helped establish and settle the municipality throughout its early years. Mayor Wayne Zitt and the town council invite all residents to come out and celebrate German culture, party with friends and neighbors, and enjoy tasty seasonal treats.
