The ninth(!) concert in Guttenberg’s ongoing Summer Concert Series brought Stan Zizka’s Del-Satins to the big stage on Boulevard East at 71st Street on Thursday, Sept. 1.

 

The band performed a set packed with stellar oldies that had the crowd on their feet for an hour, dancing in the street. Formed in 1958, the band backed Dion on some of his greatest hits and still deliver marvelous harmonies on classic songs from the ‘50s onward.

Boulevard East. Postponed from earlier this summer, the show is a tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, complete with a tight band, period costumes, and entertaining trivia.
