Guttenberg School District to be ‘Mask Optional’ After Mar. 7
Posted March 04, 2022School Superintendent Dr. Michelle Rosenberg issued an announcement that the Guttenberg School District will practice “mask optional” protocols for both staff and students, following the lifting of mask mandates on March 7 by NJ Gov. Phil Murphy.
Parents or guardians may choose to have their children continue to wear masks at school. In addition, masks will be required in certain circumstances. All students should keep a few extra masks available at all times. The district also has a stock of masks on hand.
If you have not already done so, please consider vaccinating your child if they are medically able to do so. If you have any questions regarding vaccinations, please contact the nurse’s office. If you have had your child vaccinated, please send your child’s updated vaccine card to the nurse at nurse@alkschool.org.
