Passport Fees Increasing by $20
Posted December 28, 2021The fee for a passport book will increase by $20, the U.S. Dept. of State announced. There is no increase in fee for a passport card or expedited services.
The new passport fees are as follows:
- First-time adult passport book: $165 ($130 application fee plus $35 acceptance fee)
- Renewing an adult passport book: $130
- Minor passport book for those under age 16: $135 ($100 application fee plus $35 acceptance fee)
