3 Reasons to Schedule Your COVID-19 Booster Today

The New Jersey Department of Health is advising all eligible individuals to get a COVID-19 booster shot. COVID-19 vaccines are now widely available for people ages 5 years and older. All COVID-19 vaccines are safe, effective and reduce risk of severe illness.
 
  • Protect Yourself: A booster will increase or “boost” your level of protection, which may have gone down since your last COVID-19 vaccine.
     
  • Protect Your Loved Ones: A booster will help to protect you and your loved ones, as you gather to celebrate the holidays.
     
  • Protect Your Community: Boosters help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect your community. Everyone 18 and older should get a COVID-19 booster if it's been at least 6 months since your last shot of Pfizer or Moderna, or at least 2 months since your J&J shot.
