Hudson County Sheriff’s Office Hires 16 New Officers

With dozens of proud family members in attendance along with Hudson County Sheriff Frank X. Schillari and local elected leaders, the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office officially swore in 16 new sheriff’s officers at a ceremony held on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017 at the Hudson County Administration Building in Jersey City.
The new sheriff’s officers are Almat Asani, Michael G. Baranok, Joseph M. Bufis, Abel A. Castillo, Jason Cunha, Corrado C. DeVincenzo, Mario F. Espinosa, Eric J. Gonzalez, Adam Krzeminski, Louis G. Najarian, Armando Paulino, Rene G. Portillo, Corey L. Reynolds, Jesus R. Solis, Fallon Sosa, and Dionysis Tsangaris.
The new hires will complete training at the Morris County and Essex County Police Academies in the coming weeks and join the force after graduation.
Among the other dignitaries in attendance were Honorable Judge Peter Bariso, Undersheriffs Andrew Conti and Francine Shelton, Detective’s Chief Oliver King, Hudson County Prosecutor’s Chief of Staff Carol Lamparello, and Hudson County Executive’s Deputy Chief of Staff Patrick McCarthy.
