PSE&G has launched a new Appliance Recycling Program to help customers save energy and money. The program picks up older, energy-wasting refrigerators, freezers, room air conditioners, and dehumidifiers, and recycles the units in an environmentally responsible manner.

• Customers can receive a $50 rebate for each refrigerator or freezer, plus an additional $25 rebate for each room air conditioner or dehumidifier. Rebates are subject to change without prior notice. 
• Customer must be a PSE&G residential electric customer with a valid PSE&G account number. Plugged-in appliance(s) will be picked up from outside the home, at no charge, from the address listed on the billing account 
• Customer must own the refrigerator, freezer, dehumidifier or room air conditioner
• The refrigerator and/or freezer must be 10 to 30 cubic feet
• Appliance(s) must be in working condition. PSE&G is unable to accept any appliances with mold or mildew damage 
• Limit of two large appliances (refrigerators and/or freezers) and two small appliances (room air conditioners and/or dehumidifiers) per PSE&G residential account per year
