Ground Breaking of Community Center Extension to Anna L. Klein School
Posted May 04, 2015

On Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at noon, the Town of Guttenberg and the Guttenberg Board of Education will break ground on a new Recreation/Community Center and Extension to the Anna L. Klein School. The ground breaking will take place at the corner of 68th Street and Hudson Avenue in Guttenberg.
For many years the Town of Guttenberg and the Guttenberg Board of Education have been working together to find a way to alleviate the overcrowding in the Anna L. Klein School. As a result of a unique inter-local agreement between the Town Council and the Board of Education, construction is about to begin on a new 45,000 square foot building to be constructed on vacant land adjacent to the Klein School. When completed, this facility will be used jointly by the municipality and the children attending the Klein School.
Federal, State, County and local officials who have been involved in the planning, design and funding of this project have been invited to participate in the ground breaking for this unique facility.
All residents of Guttenberg are invited to attend the ceremony.
