May is Mental Health Awareness Month
Posted May 04, 2020Mental Health Awareness Month (also known as Mental Health Month) is a national initiative to fight stigma, provide support, educate the public, and advocate for policies that support people with mental illness and their families.
Each year millions of Americans face the reality of living with a mental illness. One in 5 people will experience a mental illness during their lifetime, and everyone faces challenges in life that can impact their mental health.
Right now everyone is going through highly stressful times. It is more important than ever to be aware of mental health issues, and to be assured that no one should ever feel alone.
