Hurry down, everybody. There’s just one weekend left to enjoy the fifth annual Hudson County Fair in Braddock Park. Come enjoy a vast array of spectacular carnival rides and games with bands playing every day on the big stage:

  • Friday, Oct 11 @ 7 p.m.: The Matt O’Ree Band
  • Saturday, Oct 12 @ 3-10 p.m.: The Koots
  • Sunday, Oct 13 @ 2 p.m.: Latin Band
  • Sunday, Oct 13 @ 7 p.m.: Star Spandled Gypsy
  • Monday, Oct 14 all day: The Royals

Plus there’s plenty of great fair food, including fresh and delicious grilled items and more from local legends Philip Joyce, The Corn Guys, and Cuomo & Sons Deli.

The fair takes place across from the statue of James J. Braddock on Riverview Drive. Saturday through Monday the fair opens at 2 p.m. and on Friday at 6 p.m. Spend Columbus Day celebrating in the park on the last big day of the 2019 fair.

This year’s fair opened on Oct. 4 with an afternoon ribbon cutting by Freeholder Anthony Vainieri, followed by a nighttime ribbon cutting by North Bergen Mayor Nicholas Sacco to launch the after-dark activities. Local band The Past Masters played on Oct. 5, delivering a blast of hits that had the large crowd dancing in the neon glow of the giant Ferris wheel.
