Kurt Gallagher to Perform Concert for Kids at the Resource Center on Aug. 16
Posted August 14, 2019The Guttenberg Resource Center’s series of Friday morning activities for kids continues with a live concert at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug 16, 2019 by musical performer Kurt Gallagher.
Gallagher has been making music with kids every day for 20 years. His presentations are educational, entertaining, engaging and fun, as he performs songs, stories and gags with his guitar, ukulele, jaw harp, slide whistle, lumberjack puppets, and other musically silly stuff. Gallagher encourages kids to make as much music as possible during performances as he invites them to clap, slap, shake, spin, stomp, and sing along. He’s on a lifelong journey to show children that music is made by people, not by machines.
The Guttenberg Resource Center is located in the lower level of the Galaxy Towers Mall, 7200 Boulevard East. For more information call 201-868-2315, ext. 138.
