More than 80 Guttenberg senior citizens gathered over two afternoons at Cavalino’s Italian Restaurant to enjoy a delectable lunch sponsored by Mayor Wayne Zitt and the Town Council.
 
The cozy dining room was packed on Thursday and Friday, June 27 & 28 for a filling meal of chicken, steak, or seafood, complete with yummy side dishes. Extra tables had to be added on Friday to accommodate everyone, with lots of conversation and laughter punctuating the meal on both days.
 
Senior Services Coordinator Marisol Montanez organized and oversaw the event, with assistance from Nutritionist and Site Manager Alicia Hernandez. Mayor Zitt and Town Administrator Cosmo Cirillo each stopped by to meet with the seniors and offer them “bon appetit.”
