Director of Public Works

Will report to the Township Administrator, the successful candidate will be responsible for directing, managing and actively participating in all aspects of the Town’s public works operation.  This includes, but is not limited to, short and long-term strategic planning of the public works function; organizing, scheduling and directing the day-to-day activities of the public works staff; ensuring the successful maintenance and repair of the Town’s infrastructure including parks, recreational fields, public buildings, vehicles and equipment; and the oversight of the effective delivery of Town services including snow removal, recycling, sewer maintenance and road maintenance and repair.   Qualified candidates must have a minimum of ten (10) years municipal public works experience, valid NJ driver’s license, exceptional managerial and leadership skills, and the ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with the public, vendors and other Township personnel.   Salary will be commensurate with experience.  Please submit cover letter and resume including salary history to:  Michael Caliguiro, at townadministrator@myguttenberg.com by November 16, 2016.
