Collection & Disposal of Solid Waste

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
TOWN OF GUTTENBERG
HUDSON COUNTY, NEW JERSEY

Sealed Bids will be received at Boswell McClave Engineering, 330 Phillips Avenue, South Hackensack, NJ 07606 (On behalf of the Town of Guttenberg) on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, and then publicly opened and read aloud for:

COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF SOLID WASTE

All bids must be received at the time and date specified at Boswell McClave Engineering.  No bids will be accepted after said hour.

Specifications and bid proposal forms may be obtained upon payment of $2.75, said sum not refundable, at the Town Engineer’s Office, Boswell McClave Engineering, 330 Phillips Avenue, South Hackensack, New Jersey, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. daily, except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.  Bids or proposals shall be made on the forms provided.

A certified check or cashier’s check made payable to the order of the Town of Guttenberg, or a duly executed bid bond in the amount of 10% of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be deposited by the bidder.

Bidders must comply with the following New Jersey State Statutes:

Bid proposals must be placed in sealed envelopes addressed to the Boswell McClave Engineering, 330 Phillips Avenue, South Hackensack, New Jersey 07606, Attn: Rick McGrath and marked clearly on the outside of the envelope, lower left-hand corner:

“COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF
SOLID WASTE”

The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the proposal received and to accept the bid which is in the best interest of the Town.
