Beginning on Monday, March 5, 2018 parking regulations within the Town of Guttenberg are changing. Based on feedback from residents, Mayor Wayne Zitt and the Town Council are adjusting costs and hours to better accommodate residents and guests.
Metered parking in Guttenberg is reverting back to 30 minutes for 25 cents, doubling the current time of 15 minutes.
Overnight non-resident/visitor parking passes will cost $5, down from the current $10. Residents will also be able to purchase a visitor’s pass for up to 7 days for $20. Residents will need to purchase these passes from the Public Safety Department and will need to show proof of residency.
Resident parking will be in effect from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., rather than 11 p.m. to 10 a.m.
